Cats are housed in Darwin’s
most modern, specifically designed cattery.
Walking enclosures have three levels, including a
hammock, with carpeted ramps leading to each
level.
The top level leads through a two-way cat door
to an enclosed wire 2.4 metre-run suspended
two metres above ground. Above ground runs
provide safety as well as comfort, against
native animals etc, and the impending cane
toads.
These allow each cat to exercise and sit in
the sun or shade as they choose.
Each enclosure is equipped with toys,
scratching pad, large kitty litter tray and
cushions/bed. The cattery is equipped with
music, television and designed for coolness. |

CARE |
Each cat is allowed
individually to roam safely within the cattery
during feeding and cleaning. Each morning, kitty
litter is cleaned/changed, drinking water replaced
and dry food provided.
In the
late afternoon, litter and drinking water is again
cleaned or changed with a choice of canned or
fresh food provided (meat, fish or kangaroo meat). |

MEDICATION AND VACCINATIONS |
Medications
administered (owner provided). Veterinarian on
